Artable is currently looking for 2 new creative souls to join our team this year, these are contact positions that are perfect for those of you that may have taken time out to grow your family, or are looking for a little bit of extra cash on the side. Both positions will easily fit around other commitments as we believe firmly in living the best life that you can and finding the income to do it! 

Brand, Sales & Marketing Expert (Workshops & Art Retreats)

If you have a successful, proven history in marketing, branding and sales then you might be just what we are looking for. Artable is seeking someone who has social media savvy and knows how to sell an awesome product. We have shifted focus towards the growth of our art retreats worldwide and need the right person to come on in and get the word out. 

Artable specialises in artist-run retreats both in Australia and around the world. You're gonna love our products....dreamy painting holidays in France to pick our way through stone-filled alleyways, group art retreats in Northern NSW where we gather the largest group of creatives the region has seen, trips to Greek islands to sail on azure waters and more. 

We are hoping that you have smashed it somewhere in the corporate world of sales & marketing and know not only the importance of a good brand, but how to sell it too. We will want to see:

- A proven history of success in sales, marketing & branding

- Success in social media on your own brand, or a brand that you have worked on

- An understanding of the Artable market & where you think we can improve

- The ability to understand & work within budgets that produce results

- Extraordinary people skills

- Experience working in Sales & Marketing

- Graphic Design Skills preferred but not essential

This is essentially a sales role, but we are hoping that someone out there has the branding & marketing experience to combine with it. We are a small business where you need to be a sales & marketing multi-tasker. You will be responsible for creating marketing campaigns and building partner relationships that get results. You need to be able to think for yourself, have creative ideas and execute those ideas with successful sales results. 

This is a contract position where you will get a base pay and very attractive bonus incentives - you will need to be able to invoice us and have an ABN. You only need to allocate half a day each week, but will need to be able to take calls and answer emails in between. If you have the right set of skills & experience, we are willing to look at those applicants who are based outside of the Gold Coast/Northern NSW.

Unwind with Watercolour Host 

If you have the ability to chat to anyone of any age and at any time, feel comfortable presenting in front of large groups of people, and have some experience painting with watercolour then you just might be the perfect Host for our popular Unwind with Watercolour events on the Gold Coast and Northern NSW. We want someone with a big personality to bring the fun and to make people feel comfortable and at ease when they feel completely out of their comfort zones!

Our fastest growing product needs more people to run them! We are hoping that you will have:

- Mind blowing people skills. This means that you can strike up a conversation with anyone, any time and gain an immediate repoir.

- The ability to speak in front of large groups of people

- Some experience with watercolour (we will train you to have the specific skills that you need to deliver this workshop)

- Good organisational skills and punctuality

- Another way of supporting yourself besides this work (this is a small, part-time income)

- The ability to record & create short instructional videos is desired but not essential

This position is for 1-2 nights (and sometimes a weekend day) a month. It is the perfect position for those of you who have taken time out to grow your family or those who just want a little extra income. You might be a teacher looking for some extra income, or just someone who has a zest for life and a love of art.

Artable only works with sub-contractors, so you will need to have an ABN and the ability to invoice us.
