Cross referencing from images to canvas while looking at
scale

Mixing different mediums together to create a unique
painting

Overcoming any hesitation and hurdles with your own painting
journey

Learning that removing paint can also be a helpful tool in
painting

DAY ONE

We will be studying how plants grow and recognising true
colour tones, light and shadows.

Consideration of composition, scale and completion of the
underpainting

Option to add in a small bird of your choice

DAY TWO

Getting into the finer details further: encouraging light
and shadows

Completing the botanicals and optional small bird

Adding in patterns

Option to use teachers oil sticks to create abstract shapes
and movement

Balancing the painting to create visual interest

There are food options nearby and a fridge on site if you'd prefer to bring your own.

PARKING

Park in the surrounding back streets or catch the tram which stops near the front door.
