Rachael King is a surface designer and author of two surface design books that feature more than 200 Australian Surface Designers. She is highly sought after for her design work and her you can see her designs on fabrics at Spotlight and on cards with John Sands. Rachael gained a diploma in graphic design and used her newfound skills to bring her artwork to life in repeat patterns, a long-held obsession since childhood. She was represented at Surtex 2017 New York, and from there has been incredibly fortunate to have fabric collections with Spotlight, alongside being a licenced artist for John Sands Cards and author of Pattern Pulse Vol 1 & 2 (featuring 200 Australian Surface Designers) books that has been bought by art lovers the world over. Current projects include teaching, releasing a quilting collection and building a range of fabrics and products in a local store.
